All of these 'reward sites' (sites where you complete an offer, refer some friends to do the same and get a gift or 'reward' in return) work in the same way.
You have to:
-
1. Sign up to the Reward Site and select the item that you want as a gift
-
2. Complete an offer from Another Company*
-
3. Refer a certain amount of friends to join up via a link you are given
-
4. Process the order for your gift
-
5. Receive your free gift!
-
-
*There are plenty of different offers to choose from, so hopefully there is one that you can complete easily.
Why would somebody give me something for free?
When you sign up to the reward site you must complete an offer or a free trial for another company. This means that the main site is forwarding you to this other company. Simply, it is a new form of advertising, the company pays the Reward Site money every time that they get interest, through that site.
This is what happens step-by-step:
-
1. Person completes a free trial for A Company.
-
2. Company must pay £25 every time somebody signs up through the Reward Site (any site offering you free items).
-
3. Person wants a Nintendo Wii, which costs £180.
-
4. Person needs to get 10 referrals (friends to sign up) in order to receive his Wii.
-
5. Company pays the Reward Site £250 as person has got 10 friends to sign up via their link.
-
6. Reward Site orders Person's Wii, and has £70 left over. Some of this is used for postage.
-
7. Person's profit = FREE WII! (Depending on whether you do a free trial or a normal trial. Normal trials will cost no more than £10)
-
8. Reward Site's Profit = Around £60.
-
9. Company's Profit = Interest in their website and money from people that stay.
-
10. Everybody = Happy!
